• Department-wide announcements issued

• Current ASLRP participants selected in 2011 and 2012 complete renewal requests
• New requesters and current ASLRP participants whose service obligation ends in 2011 complete Request for Consideration and gather financial statements from loan holders

March 29, 2013

• Deadline for current participants initially selected in 2011 or 2012 to submit ASLRP renewal requests to components/offices/boards, divisions (or equivalent)

April 16, 2013

• Deadline for component (or equivalent) to submit renewal requests to OARM

April 16, 2013

• Deadline for new requesters and current participants whose service obligations expire in 2013 who wish to recomplete for additional benefits to submit Requests for Consideration to component (or equivalent)

May 3, 2013

• Deadline for component (or equivalent) to submit new Requests for Consideration to OARM

May-June 2013

• Recertification of current ASLRP participants
• Department-level review of new requests and selection of new recipients

June 2013

• OARM notifies components to initiate approved renewal payments
• Validation of student loans for tentative new recipients
• Final eligibility screening for tentative new recipients

July 2013

• New recipients individually notified; acceptances documented
• Components notified of acceptances and payment amount for new recipients
• OARM notifies components of any rebate from central funding
• OARM posts update on main ASLRP page and issues JCON announcement once all notifications to new recipients are confirmed

NLT September 30, 2013

• Components issue payments for new FY 13 recipients (except incoming attorneys not yet on duty, for whom payments will be issued immediately after EOD).
