Compendium of Federal District Courts' Local ADR Rules

The Alternative Dispute Resolution Act of 1998 obligates each federal district court to adopt local rules authorizing the use of various forms of alternative dispute resolution in all civil actions and to “encourage and promote the use of alternative dispute resolution in [each] district.”
