U.S. Attorney Leads Team of Volunteers
February 18, 2012
For the second time in less than six months, U.S. Attorney Robert O'Neill led a team of volunteers from the U.S. Attorney's Office to assist in a special project at the Hope Children's Home in Tampa. The Hope Children's Home cares for children who have been discarded, abused, or who are unwanted or orphaned.
Nearly thirty volunteers assisted professional craftsmen in painting two newly constructed "Cottages of Hope". Fellow volunteers included members of the Tampa FBI and the Tampa Bay Buccaneer Cheerleaders.
These "Cottages of Hope" will house the children in a family style environment.
