Community Outreach
Community outreach and public awareness constitute essential components of any successful crime reduction strategy. U.S. Attorneys work with their local communities to increase awareness, promote community involvement and develope crime reduction strategies.
Outreach activities include producing and distributing educational literature, conducting mail campaigns, sponsoring local workshops, and producing public service announcements (PSAs), crime prevention toolkits, billboard advertisements, press releases and news articles.
