KC man sentenced for crack cocaine, illegal firearms
KANSAS CITY - A Kansas City, Mo., man was sentenced in federal court for his role in a conspiracy to distribute crack cocaine and illegally possessing firearms. The defendant was originally arrested and charged following a police shooting incident on Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2007. Montae T. Robertson, 20, of Kansas City, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Howard F. Sachs to five years in federal prison without parole.

Former state fire investigator sentenced for enticing a minor for illicit sex
KANSAS CITY - A Warrensburg, Mo., man was sentenced in federal court for using the Internet to attempt to entice a minor to engage in illicit sexual activity. Lee E. Johnson, 49, of Warrensburg, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Dean Whipple to 10 years in federal prison without parole. Johnson was a fire investigator with the Office of the State Fire Marshal, Missouri Department of Public Safety.

Independence man sentenced to 20 years for methamphetamine
KANSAS CITY - An Independence, Mo., man was sentenced in federal court for possession with the intent to distribute methamphetamine. Gerry K. Buchenau, 36, of Independence, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Howard F. Sachs to 20 years in federal prison without parole.
