Within our district there are three fully engaged PSN sites which include a law enforcement partnership, a community resource coalition, and a local initiative name to include a logo. These sites include:

Bullet Cumberland County to include the City of Fayetteville - OPERATION CEASEFIRE

Bullet Wake County to include the City of Raleigh - T.R.A.C. PROGRAM (Targeting Raleigh's Armed Criminals Program)

Bullet New Hanover County and the City of Wilmington - OPERATION CEASEFIRE in Wilmington

There are two other sites that are currently under construction. This means that the law enforcement partnerships have been developed and are fully operational. These locations are:

  • Pitt County and the City of Greenville, and
  • Johnston County and the City of Smithfield

The Project Safe Neighborhoods 2003 Funding Allocation included $587,366.00 which has been awarded to various agencies in the district to support the Project Safe Neighborhood initiative in all of these locations.
