Divisions

Administrative Division
The mission of the Administration Division is to provide consistent and effective administrative services and support to all staff and associated programs of the United States Attorney's Office for the District of Utah.

Civil Division
The Civil Division represents the United States and its departments, agencies, and employees at both trial and appellate levels in civil actions filed in Utah. This includes defending a broad range of actions filed against the United States, in such areas as environmental and land use, medical malpractice, employment discrimination, civil rights, wrongful death and other tort actions, Social Security determinations, immigration, and other civil litigation. It also includes affirmative actions by the United States in such areas as land acquisition and quiet title actions, tax enforcement, and cases handled by the ACE and FLU units.

Criminal Division
The Criminal Division is responsible for all criminal investigations and prosecutions handled by the United States Attorney's Office for the District of Utah.
