This program offers temporary employment opportunities to students who are enrolled at least part-time in an accredited college or university, graduate or professional or technical school. Announcements for these vacancies are posted with local universities and/or technical schools.
The United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Washington partnerships with Gonzaga University, School of Law, in a two-year legal internship program. Students are given challenging research and writing problems, and may also be included in meetings, hearings, participate in depositions, in other non-research case litigation, and in-court litigation appearances. The United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Washington also has student law extern positions (unpaid) on a limited basis.
