Farewell Message from U.S. Attorney Jenny A. Durkan

Serving as United States Attorney for the Western District of Washington for the last five years has been an extraordinary honor and privilege.  It has been remarkable to work with the people in this office, and the men and women of law enforcement and other federal agencies.   They are committed public servants, who work every day to make our nation and communities safer.  Together we have accomplished a great deal .  I will always be grateful for the opportunity to serve, the challenges we have met and the friendships I have made.    Thank you.

In an increasingly complex world, many of these crimes cross borders and span cyberspace – they target both our physical and financial security. The 68 attorneys and 69 support staff in this office work every day to enhance the safety and security of Western Washington and make it an even better place to live.
