IMPORTANT NOTICE TO INDIVIDUAL DEBTORS IN THE WESTERN DISTRICT OF MISSOURI

Effective for all cases, all individual debtors must provide picture identification and proof of social security number to the chapter 7, chapter 12 or chapter 13 trustee to whom the case is assigned at the meeting of creditors. Failure to do so may result in your case being dismissed.

All filing of petitions and pleadings by attorneys are done via ECF. Pro se filers may send paper documents by mail or deliver them in person to the Clerk of the Bankruptcy Court located in the Federal Courthouse at 400 E. 9th St., Room 1510, Kansas City, MO 64106. Lawyers experiencing an ECF-related emergency should call the clerk at 816-512-1800.
