| April 6, 2011 | It is anticipated that debtors and their attorneys may submit the debtors' tax documents via electronic mail (e-mail) to the Chapter 7 panel trustees or the Chapter 13 trustee. It is the position of the United States Trustee that electronic (e-mail) receipt of debtors' tax documents not later than 7 days before the date first set for the meeting of creditors, satisfies the debtors' requirement under 11 U.S.C. § 521(e)(2). This document provides email addresses to Chapter 7 and 13 Trustees, please specify "Tax Returns" Case Number and Debtor Name in the Subject line. |
