The Administration Division provides support to all employees throughout the District of Colorado.
The Appellate Division is responsible for all criminal and civil litigation before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, in consultation with the Department of Justice in Washington, D.C.
Asset Recovery Division
The Asset Recovery Division is responsible for the collections of federal debts and the forfeiture of assets related to criminal activity. The Asset Recovery Division’s primary objective is to use best efforts to divest criminals of their property and return it to victims of crime.
The Civil Division is responsible for defending United States' interests, and those of United States employees sued for actions taken within the scope of their employment, in all civil litigation matters, including but not limited to Federal Tort Claims, Employment Discrimination, Environmental Litigation, Social Security, Bankruptcy and Land Condemnation litigation.
The Criminal Division of the Office of the United States Attorney for the District of Colorado prosecutes all violations of criminal federal law occurring within the State and District of Colorado.
The Executive Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office consists of the U.S. Attorney, the First Assistant U.S. Attorney, the Executive Assistant U.S. Attorney, the U.S. Attorney’s Executive Assistant and the Public Affairs Officer. The Division includes the Division and Section Chiefs from other Divisions within the office. As a group all of the Executive Division, along with the Division and Section Chiefs make up the office’s Management Team.
