In an effort to further strengthen its Community Prosecution efforts, the United States Attorney’s Office, in partnership with the Mayor’s Office, the Office for the Attorney General for the District of Columbia, Columbus School of Law, Catholic University, the Metropolitan Police Department and Court Services & Offender Supervision Agency sponsored a Conference on Crime and Community Prosecution on October 23, 2004 at the Columbus School of Law at Catholic University.

Over 250 attendees of the Community Prosecution Conference listened to speakers address how residents, city agencies and the law enforcement agencies could develop and implement strategies to reduce crime and improve the quality of life in the city’s neighborhoods. |
