Branch Offices - Chief Craig Wininger Flint Courthouse Image

The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Michigan operates staffed branch offices in Flint and Bay City, as well as unstaffed offices in Ann Arbor and Port Huron.

The Flint office handles criminal matters arising out of Genesee, Lapeer, Livingston and Shiawassee counties. Five Assistant U.S. Attorneys are assigned to the Flint office.

The Bay City office handles criminal matters arising out of Alcona, Alpena, Arenac, Bay, Cheboygan, Clare, Crawford, Gladwin, Gratiot, Huron, Iosco, Isabella, Midland, Montmorency, Ogemaw, Oscoda, Otsego, Presque Isle, Roscommon, Saginaw and Tuscola counties. The Bay City Office’s responsibilities include matters occurring on the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Reservation. Four Assistant U.S. Attorneys are assigned to the Bay City Office.
