[REDACTED TEXT (b7D)]

Dear [REDACTED TEXT (b7D)]

This letter is in response to your letters of February 2 and February 11, 1998, regarding [REDACTED TEXT (b7D)] complaints about conduct by Frito Lay. Specifically, you relate incidents in which you claim Frito has obtained exclusive rights to shelf space in certain accounts that [REDACTED TEXT (b7D)] has served. We appreciate your sharing this information with us, particularly insofar as you have given us contact names and telephone numbers. You should know that we made calls to many of the contacts that you provided us in your letter of July 3, 1997, including [REDACTED TEXT (b7D)] along with some others we tried to reach, did not return our telephone call. If you are in touch with him, you might ask him to give me a call at (202) 307-0892 or have him call Dick Doidge at (202) 514-8944. Thank you again for bringing this information to our attention.

Sincerely yours,

Nina Hale
Attorney
