2026 Orange County Junior Achievement Inspire Expo

Representatives from the USAO-MDFL, U.S. Probation, and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) participated in the Orange County Junior Achievement (JA) Inspire Expo held at the University of Central Florida’s Additions Financial Arena, showcasing various law and government careers to Orange County middle schoolers. Community Outreach Specialist Khalilah Escalera and AUSA Courtney Richardson-Jones (USAO-MDFL); Julio Dominguez and Nikisha Branham (U.S. Probation); and Heather Hartney & Vilmarie Juarbe Pereira (DEA) engaged students to discuss ideas on how to prevent violent crime in their communities. Students affirmed their commitment by signing the student National Pledge Against Gun Violence at the USAO station. Participating agencies included Orange County Fire Rescue, Advent Health, and many others. More than 2,100 eighth-grade students and staff from Orange County schools participated in the event.
