The lapse in appropriations that began on October 1, 2025, appears to be extending beyond 30 days. As a result, DOJ components must issue new furlough notices to affected employees. Please log into your government email account at your earliest convenience to confirm whether a new notice was issued to you, review, and acknowledge receipt of the 2nd furlough notice (if applicable).
