UPDATE – On November 11, 2016, Edward Lugo was resentenced was sentenced to 18 months of incarceration. All other provisions of Lugo’s previous sentence remain in effect.

On July 21, 2016, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit vacated Lugo’s sentence, and remanded for resentencing.

On December 15, 2015, Edward Lugo appealed his sentence to the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

On May 11, 2015, Edward Lugo was sentenced, in a 5K1.1 downward departure and court variance, to 21 months in prison, followed by 3 years of supervised release; no restitution was ordered.
