On December 4 and 5, the U.S. Department of State Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) hosted the Firearms Roundtable in Mexico City, which brought together officials from Mexico and the United States including the U.S. Ambassador to Mexico and Mexico’s Deputy Attorney General.

Earlier this month, attorneys from the Environmental Crimes Section of the Justice Department’s Environment and Natural Division (ENRD) led a course on prosecuting environmental crimes at the International Law Enforcement Academy (ILEA) in Bangkok, Thailand. On November 19, ICITAP partnered with delegates from the Costa Rica Department of Forensic Sciences (DFS) to present a workshop at the 23rd International Association of Forensic Sciences (IAFS) triennial conference in Sydney, Australia.
On November 15, ICITAP-Colombia launched a violence against women and young girls campaign titled “ICITAP Entrena Investigadores Para Hacer Visible Lo Invisible” or “ICITAP Trains Investigators to Make the Invisible Visible.”
