If the case is a Chapter 11, contact the U.S. Trustee's Rochester office

If the Federal Building is closed due to inclement weather, it will be broadcast on the local radio and television stations.

Timely appearance is extremely important. Please read the notice Re: Timely Appearance at Chapter 7 §341 Meetings [WPD - 31KB]
Recordings of § 341 meetings are generally available for 2 years following the meeting date. If the meeting you need is within that time period, please write to the Rochester U.S. Trustee Office and provide the case name, case number, trustee name, meeting date and time. Please include a recordable CD. In some cases, depending on the length of the meeting, a copy of the §341 meeting may be able to be e-mailed to you. Please contact Jill.Schwartz@usdoj.gov and provide the case name, case number, trustee name, meeting date and time.
Yes. But please be aware that in chapter 7 and 13 cases, multiple cases are heard in an hour, so there may be limited time for questions. The trustee will afford you as much time as he/she can, but it would be best if you contact the trustee ahead of the hearing date to alert him/her of your interest. The trustee might be able to call the case last on the hour so that no other cases are waiting while you ask your questions. It is best if you keep your questions to the point so as to fit as many of them as you can into the time allotted.
