Two Men Sentence to Prison for Bribery Related to Katrina

United States Attorney Dunn Lampton announced today that MITCHELL KENDRIX of Memphis, Tennessee and PAUL NELSON of Lisbon, Maine were each sentenced by U.S. District Judge Keith Starrett to serve twelve months in prison and pay a $5,000 fine, followed by a two-year term of supervised release (Read more)

Montgomery Man Sentenced to One and One-Half Years in Prison for Defrauding FEMA

United States Attorney Leura G. Canary announced today that Willie Fred Goldsmith, age 58, of Montgomery, Alabama, was sentenced to eighteen months in federal prison for defrauding the FEMA of Hurricane Rita disaster assistance and other non-FEMA violations. (Read more)
