United States v. King-Khan-Gammon
United States v. Christopher King (21CR00418), United States v. Natasha Khan (21CR609), and United States v. Scott Gammon (22CR85)
According to court documents, from August 2014 through August 2019, Christopher King, 36, of Oceanside, New York; Natasha Khan, 38, of Elmont, New York; and Scott Gammon, 47, of Broad Channel, New York, engaged in a direct-mail scheme that sent fraudulent prize notification mailings to thousands of consumers. The mailings came from entities using multiple names, including Research America Network, Asset Notification Program, Acceptance Division, and Award Allocation of America. The mailings induced consumers to pay a fee, purportedly in return for a large cash prize. None of the consumers who sent a fee ever received such a prize.
King pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit mail fraud on Sept. 15, 2021. Khan pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit mail fraud on Dec. 15, 2021. Gammon pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit mail fraud on Mar. 16, 2022.
