Grants

The Office on Violence Against Women (OVW) currently administers grant programs authorized by the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) of 1994 and subsequent legislation.
 

OVW grants support eligible applicants' efforts to help communities address domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking, support victims and survivors, and hold offenders accountable.

What these grants support and what type of applicants are eligible to apply varies across the grant programs. What must be included in an application varies, too.
