US v. Ixavier Holman, Jr.

Case Description:

On June 12, 2023, Ixavier Holman was arrested pursuant to a federal criminal complaint charging him with the following federal offenses: Possession of a Postal Key; Theft of property used by the Postal Service; and Theft or receipt of stolen mail. He was presented before a federal magistrate judge in New Haven and released on bond.  During the investigation, Holman was found to be in possession of unaltered checks and money orders that were dated between December 2022 and June 2023. Any unopened mail in the possession of the defendant was forwarded to the correct recipient by the U.S. Postal Inspection Service. Any opened envelopes that were found to contain checks and money orders were never cashed by the defendant and are currently in the custody of the U.S. Postal Inspection Service. Unless you want your check returned, it will be destroyed upon completion of the case. 

Holman entered a guilty plea on November 20, 2024. A copy of the plea agreement and charging document is enclosed. Sentencing is currently scheduled for July 16, 2025 at 10:30am before Judge Nagala in the U.S. District Court, 450 Main Street in Hartford, Connecticut. You are welcome to attend in person.
