Rosa Emilia Rodríguez-Vélez, USARosa Emilia Rodríguez-Vélez, USA

U.S. Attorney Rosa Emilia Rodríguez-Vélez received a Masters Degree in Criminal Justice (summa cum laude) in 1974, and her Juris Doctor Degree from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico in 1977.  Two years later, in 1979, she became an Assistant District Attorney with the P.R. Department of Justice, and resigned that position in 1988 to become an Assistant U.S. Attorney.
