Michael H. Allen was Deputy Assistant Attorney General, Policy, Management and Procurement, for the Justice Management Division (JMD) of the Department of Justice. He was responsible for oversight of the Office of General Counsel, Departmental Ethics Office, Office of Records Management Policy, Internal Review and Evaluation Office and Procurement Services Staff.
He served as Senior Procurement Executive for the Department and worked closely with the Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, which is assigned to JMD for administrative purposes, to further the Department’s small business program.
Prior to joining the Department of Justice, Mr. Allen served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for a private university in West Palm Beach, Florida. He completed twenty-five years of service with the U.S. Navy as a Naval Flight Officer. Mr. Allen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from North Carolina State University and a Masters of Business Administration from New Hampshire College.
