IER Letters Of Resolution Summaries For Fiscal Years 2007 - 2025
Fiscal year covers the period of October 1 thru September 30
In some instances, IER issues letters of resolution to resolve investigations into U.S. employers. This may occur for many reasons, including because the employer voluntarily entered into a private settlement agreement directly with the person who filed a discrimination charge with IER and IER has determined that such a resolution, with or without additional commitments by the employer, also addresses the public interests that IER protects. Letters of resolution may also sometimes be issued to conclude independent investigations where the employer has voluntarily corrected, or commits to correcting, its practices that affect the public interests protected by the INA’s anti-discrimination provision and IER determines that no additional relief is necessary.
