Appendix C NOTICE TO POTENTIAL VICTIMS OF HOUSING DISCRIMINATION
On March 8, 2011, the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington entered a consent order resolving litigation brought by the United States Department of Justice involving Summerhill Place, LLC, GRAN, Inc. and Rita Lovejoy (the "Defendants"). The litigation alleged that the Defendants discriminated against tenants and prospective tenants at Summerhill Place Apartments located at 10415 SE 174th Street, Renton, Washington. Summerhill Place, LLC, GRAN, Inc., and Rita Lovejoy deny the allegations of the litigation and specifically deny that they discriminated on the basis of race, color, national origin, and familial status. The Parties have agreed to this Consent Order to avoid costly and protracted litigation and is not an admission of liability.
