	Community Outreach Community Outreach takes many different forms, ranging from Department of Justice driven programs and grants, to public efforts such as community meetings, listening tours, and training and education, both formal and informal.
	Law Enforcement Coordination LECC provides a networking focus for law enforcement executives committed to the ideal of cooperation and coordination at all levels of local, state and federal law enforcement.
	Project Safe Neighborhoods Project Safe Neighborhoods is a partnership working to aggressively identify and attack criminal organizations and individuals responsible for gun and gang crimes in order to ensure that the communities in our jurisdiction remain safe.
	Project Safe Childhood Project Safe Childhood is a Department of Justice initiative designed to protect children from online exploitation and abuse.
	Smart on Crime The Smart on Crime program supports viable prisoner reentry initiatives as means of promoting public safety. In coordination with federal, state and local agencies and community service providers, our goal is to reduce recidivism and keep our communities safe. The District is committed to reentry initiatives that will assist the formerly incarcerated population integrate successfully back into society.
	Victim Witness Assistance The Office’s Victim and Witness Coordinator provides important services to victims and witnesses of federal crimes, including providing information about compensation for expenses and court-ordered restitution.
