After the towers fell on September 11, 2001, the largest response operation in New York City history began.

Attack on the Pentagon

The third plane crashed into the western side of the Pentagon, causing a fire that fist responders fought for days.

Aboard Flight 93

Passengers on the fourth plane fought back, leading to the terrorists crashing the plane before reaching their intended target in Washington, D.C.
