Brenda L. Auterman

Brenda L. Auterman serves as Senior Advisor to the Deputy Assistant Attorney General – Policy, Management, Procurement (DAAG/PMP) where she directly assists the DAAG/PMP with oversight of the Internal Review and Evaluation Office, Office of General Counsel, Facilities and Administrative Services Staff, Departmental Ethics Office, Procurement Services Staff, Office of Records Management Policy, Office of Acquisition Management, and the Department’s Electronic Litigation Program. Ms. Auterman previously served as Senior Advisor in the Office for Access to Justice where she established and oversaw the human resources and administrative functions to stand-up the Department’s newest component. She joined the Department in 2012 as Special Assistant to the Director of the Office on Violence Against Women where she managed the day-to-day functions of the Front Office and served as liaison to Senior Leadership Offices, Office of Legislative Affairs, Office of Public Affairs, and Office of the Executive Secretariat. She previously worked in the Office of Community Oriented Policing Services and the Office of Justice Programs where she was responsible for the strategic management, programmatic, and financial oversight, compliance and monitoring of grant programs, technical assistance providers, special initiatives, and pilot projects. Ms. Auterman received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee and her master’s degree from Sarah Lawrence College.
