Deadline for Comment on DOJ FOIA Regulations Closes Tomorrow
By notice in the Federal Register on September 19, 2011, the Department of Justice reopened the comment period for its proposed rule revising its existing Freedom of Information Act regulations. The comment period was reopened for an additional thirty day period in order to ensure that the Department receives, reviews, and considers as wide a range of comments at possible. The public may submit written comments on the proposed regulations until October 19, 2011. To access the proposed regulations enter the keyword DOJ-OAG-2011-0005 on regulations.gov.
