OIP Hosting Upcoming FOIA Requester Roundtable

On August 5, 2009, the Office of Information Policy (OIP), Department of Justice, will host a roundtable discussion with the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requester community. This event will serve as an opportunity for FOIA requesters and OIP's FOIA professionals to exchange ideas for increased cooperation, explore approaches to improve FOIA processing, and discuss areas where agencies can provide useful information in a more accessible format to the public. Through this collaborative effort, recommendations can be developed to make the FOIA more user-friendly in this new era of open government.

1425 New York Avenue, NW, Suite 11050
