- Litigation Considerations, Adequacy of Search: The Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit holds that "[t]he district court correctly determined that the Executive Office for the United States Attorneys' . . . search for records responsive to appellant's request for information was reasonable and fulfilled its obligations under the Freedom of Information Act."
- Exemption 7(C): The Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit holds that "EOUSA properly withheld, pursuant to FOIA Exemption 7(C), identifying information contained in the document released." The court finds that "[t]he individuals appearing in the records have a significant privacy interest that appellant has not shown is defeated by the public's interest in disclosure."
