Disposition: Affirming district court's grant of government's motions for summary judgment
- Litigation Considerations, Mootness and Other Grounds for Dismissal: The Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit holds that "[i]n each case, the United States fully complied with the Freedom of Information Act . . . and in one of them, res judicata provided an alternative basis for summary judgment." In the prior decision not involving res judicata, the district court found that DOJ correctly applied Exemptions 4, 6, and 7(C).
