Disposition: Adopting magistrate judge's recommendation that plaintiff's motion seeking the disclosure of certain documents be denied
- Procedural Requirements, Proper FOIA Requests: The court notes that plaintiff "seeks information regarding financial holdings and investments of the court clerks, counsel of record and judges 'involved in the prosecution of this criminal case'" and "also seeks an order from the Court pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act . . . to the 'Office of Government Ethics' seeking financial statements of Department of Justice officers." The court finds that, "[t]he procedure for obtaining such information is governed by statute . . . and [plaintiff's] claim that the information should be provided to him other than as specified in the statute is groundless."
