Re: Records concerning plaintiff's extradition from Cambodia Disposition: Affirming district court's grant of defendant's request for summary judgment; denying plaintiff's request for in camera review
  • Exemption 5, Deliberative Process:  The Court affirms the district court's grant of defendant's request for summary judgment after finding that the document withheld in response to plaintiff's request is protected by the deliberative process privilege.
  • Exemption (7)(C):  The Court affirms the district court's grant of defendant's request for summary judgment after finding that the government appropriately redacted the names and contact information of government agents, employees, and third parties.  The Court notes that release of this information could reasonably be expected to constitute an unwarranted invasion of personal privacy.
  • Litigation Considerations, In Camera Inspection:  The Court finds that plaintiff's request for in camera review should be denied.
