Working at the U.S. Attorney’s Office has been an absolute privilege. I have appreciated the comradery and support that this office offers not only to externs, but to each other and their support staff. Everyone has been incredibly welcoming, helpful, and kind. Multiple AUSA’s trusted me with projects and provided coaching. My mentors, Bob and Darci made sure we were able to work on interesting projects and spend time in the courtroom. Danielle was incredible and helped guide us the entire time, allowing me to pop in and ask questions. Multiple educational opportunities were available which also led to great networking opportunities. U.S. Attorney Joshua Hurwit was also very kind and welcoming, making sure that he took time to get to know each of us individually.

I am incredibly appreciative of this opportunity. This externship has provided such a significant contribution to my legal education that I could not imagine navigating law school and my future career without it. I will encourage all of my classmates to pursue an externship with this office if they can.
