The Civil Division, located in Baltimore, defends agencies of the United States when sued in court, prosecutes civil enforcement activities in a variety of fraud matters and collects debts owed to the United States.
The Criminal Division includes prosecutors in Baltimore. They prosecute a variety of crimes, including violent crime, immigration related crime, fraud, and other crime affecting the northern portion and the Eastern Shore of the State of Maryland.
The Southern Division includes prosecutors in Greenbelt. They prosecute a variety of crimes, including violent crime, immigration related crime, fraud, and other crime affecting the southern portion of the State of Maryland.
The Administrative Division supports the litigation activities of the civil and criminal divisions, ensures compliance with Department of Justice rules and regulations and coordinates other law enforcement support and victim witness activities.
