Information For Victims Regarding The Sentencing Of Russell Wasendorf, Sr.

The sentencing in United States v. Russell R. Wasendorf, Sr. has been set for January 31, 2013, at 9:00 a.m. The hearing will be held at 111 7th Avenue SE, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, in Courtroom 1 (2nd Floor), before Chief United States District Court Judge Linda R. Reade. Russell Wasendorf, Sr. remains in custody pending sentencing.

Under the Crime Victims Rights Act (Title 18, United States Code, Section 3771), victims of federal crimes generally have the right to attend and be reasonably heard at the sentencing of a defendant. Victims wishing to attend Russell Wasendorf, Sr.’s sentencing hearing and/or address the Court during the hearing are requested to contact Shari Konarske, Victim-Witness Coordinator, so that appropriate arrangements can be made.
