Media Advisory: Charges Against Former Prison Guards

Cedar Rapids, Iowa – The United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Iowa and the Iowa Department of Corrections will hold a press conference on October 6^th to discuss recent charging decisions involving four former Anamosa State Penitentiary correctional officers and one other individual.

U.S. Attorney Kevin Techau and IDOC Director Jerry Bartruff will be present at the press conference along with representatives from the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation, Federal Bureau of Investigation and the North Liberty Police Department.
