Ohio Man Sentenced for Methamphetamine Trafficking

WHEELING, WEST VIRGINIA – Stephan G. Ward, 32, of Akron, Ohio, was sentenced today to 100 months in federal prison for the distribution of methamphetamine.
According to court documents, Ward, also known as “YG,” was delivering methamphetamine to others for distribution in Marshall County. Ward has prior drug and firearms convictions.
Ward will serve three years of supervised release following his prison sentence.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Clayton Reid prosecuted the case on behalf of the government.
The Marshall County Drug Task Force, a HIDTA-funded initiative, investigated.
U.S. District Judge John Preston Bailey presided.
