Two Individuals Convicted On Drug Charges

ELKINS, WEST VIRGINIA — United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II
announced that the following individuals recently appeared in Federal Court in Elkins.

DONALD MARK TILLOTSON, age 39, of Burlington, West Virginia, entered a plea of guilty to “Possession of Pseudoephedrine to be Used in the Manufacture of Methamphetamine” on November 12, 2012, in Keyser, West Virginia. TILLOTSON, who is in custody pending sentencing, faces up to 20 years imprisonment and a $250,000 fine. This case was investigated by the Potomac Highlands Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force consisting of officers from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the West Virginia State Police - Bureau of Criminal Investigations.

TONYA RENEE HAYMOND, age 28, of Romney, West Virginia, entered a plea of guilty to “Distribution of Heroin,” on June 5, 2012, in Moorefield, West Virginia. HAYMOND, who is free on bond pending sentencing, faces up to 20 years imprisonment and a $1,000,000 fine. This case was investigated by the Hardy County Sheriff’s Department and the Moorefield Police Department.
