Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN) is a federally-funded program intended to reduce gun violence through law enforcement training, public education, and aggressive law enforcement efforts to investigate and prosecute gun-related crimes. In the District of New Hampshire, an Assistant United States Attorney serves as the PSN coordinator.
Past PSN grants were administered by the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office. Recently, the PSN grant program has been changed and grant applications are now competitive and evaluated nationwide. As a result, New Hampshire has not recently been awarded a PSN grant. Clicking on the icon above will bring you to the Bureau of Justice Assistance’s PSN with links on how to apply for a PSN grant.
