U.S. Attorney's Office Photo
The United States Attorney's Office alongside the South County and Block Island Prevention Coalitions, RI Student Assistance Services, Anchor Recovery, and the HOPE Recover Center provided nasal naloxone training and distributed 110 nasal naloxone kits to Block Island businesses. With the assistance of the Block Island Ferry and Security Service, the Block Island Chamber of Commerce, and the Block Island Police Departments, teams of outreach workers walked from business to business providing nasal naloxone trainings, educational pamphlets, and nasal naloxone kits.  Kits were also distributed to housing units that employ international summer workers.
