Civil Division Chief - Kevin Love Hubbard

Kevin Love Hubbard, named Chief of the Civil Division in January 2024, was appointed an Assistant United States Attorney in the office’s Civil Division in May 2021. In addition to representing the United States in a wide range of civil affirmative and defensive matters, Mr. Hubbard has also served as the office’s Environmental Justice Coordinator since May 2022.

Prior to joining the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Mr. Hubbard was a partner in the law firm of Medina Orthwein.  Earlier in his career, Mr. Hubbard served as a law clerk to the Honorable Neil Wake of the United States District Court for the District of Arizona, and held litigation roles with two nationally prominent law firms.  He is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University and Yale Law School.
