White Collar/Computer Fraud

Hunter G. Mello was indicted on April 10, 2023. Hunter Mello and various co-conspirators have operated various online platforms since at least 2015. Using these various platforms, Mello and complicit call-center operators propagated malicious adware that was used to conduct tech-support fraud on citizens throughout the United States (and especially the elderly). Conservative estimates place the loss caused by these actors in the tens of millions of dollars.
