United States v. Alexander Francise Blasscyk
Alexander Francise Blasscyk has pleaded guilty to wire fraud for his role in a scheme to fraudulently obtain funds from
victims by claiming to serve as a cell phone tower consultant. Blasscyk represented to victims, including to Ashe County residents, that for a fee he would market the victims’ properties to cell phone tower companies and cell phone carriers and negotiate leases with those entities to allow them to build cell phone towers on the victims’ properties in exchange for rent payments. Hundreds of victims, including individuals and entities, paid more than $800,000 to Blasscyk or entities that he controlled for these purported
cell phone tower consulting services and related expenses. Contrary to Blasscyk's representations, little to no cell phone tower consulting services were provided, he did not market the victims’ properties to cell phone tower companies and cell phone carriers as promised, and he did not negotiate the cell phone tower leases on behalf of the victims as he had claimed.
