 United States v. Magana - Case Number 5:18-cr-386 - Bill of Indictment filed December 11, 2018

Charges have been filed against Erick Raymond Magana, 44, of Charlotte, on charges of mail theft and aggravated identity theft. According to allegations in the indictment, from 2016 to 2018, Magana frequently stole and took mail from and out of mail boxes in affluent neighborhoods in and around Charlotte.  Magana allegedly used the stolen mail, including stolen personal and business checks and credit cards, to commit bank fraud, resulting in an actual fraud loss of hundreds of thousands of dollars.

The charges against Magana are pending.
