SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico – The United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Puerto Rico will be commemorating National Crime Victims’ Rights Week (NCVRW) from April 6–12, 2025, by hosting trainings of court personnel, continuing to educate our federal law enforcement agents on their role as victim advocates, and fomenting a law enforcement effort guided by awareness of the humanity and needs of crime victims.

Today, U.S. Attorney Clint Johnson, City of Tulsa Mayor Monroe Nichols, and Tulsa Police Chief Dennis Larsen proudly announced a $2.5M grant from the National Sexual Kit Initiative.

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico – In addition to the $12.1 million in grants announced on September 23, 2024, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Puerto Rico announces another $4,803,662 in grants related to protecting vulnerable victims from domestic violence and related crimes, as listed below:

Violence Against Women (OVW) in announcing $1,483,668 in domestic violence and victim services grants to combat intimate partner violence and assist victims of violence, survivors, and their families in Wyoming.

The Department of Justice awarded $172,686,219.00 in grant funds this year to agencies and services across the Western District of Texas through its Office of Justice Programs

LAS VEGAS – United States Attorney Jason M. Frierson today announced awards totaling $31,746,860 in Department of Justice grants to support public safety efforts in the District of Nevada. The grants were awarded by the Department’s Office of Justice Programs. 

The Department of Justice awarded a $7,821,753 grant to help the Texas Office of the Governor, Public Safety Office, Victim Services Team (VOCA) serve victims of the 2022 shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde.

Today, U.S. Attorney Clint Johnson announced the award of more than  $6.2 million in Department of Justice grants to assist tribal governments within the Northern District of Oklahoma. The grants were awarded by the Department's Office of Justice Programs.
